December 08, (THEWILL) — Ayodeji Awomoyi, the Chief Executive Officer of Flyzone Tourism, was the centre of attention at Sunday’s Seaside Platinum All-White Party in Lagos, exciting the crowd with the poise and presence of a true industry celebrity. Dressed in immaculate white alongside guests, his arrival drew loud cheers from travel consultants, marking one of the most vibrant celebrations the sector has seen this year.

Awomoyi disclosed that only 400 partners were invited, despite Flyzone having more than 8,000 active consultants nationwide. “It was purely logistical”, he said, noting that no venue could host all at once. He urged attendees to reassure colleagues that the limited guest list was not a reflection of preference, while thanking those who had travelled from Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ife, Ibadan, Owerri and beyond.

Reflecting on the company’s growth, Awomoyi highlighted the trust consultants place in Flyzone. He recalled instances where consultants transferred millions of naira in advance or left funds with the company for months while applications were processed. “Sometimes, a simple ‘Hold it; I will tell you when I’m ready’ or ‘We are together’ is all it takes to build trust”, he said. This confidence, he noted, drives Flyzone’s commitment to deliver value and strengthen partnerships.

Awomoyi also recounted Flyzone’s rise as Africa’s leading Dubai visa-processing agency, handling over 100 applications daily at its peak. Airlines were often amazed that a single agency could fill entire flights with Dubai-bound travellers. He credited these milestones to the loyalty and referrals of consultants in the room.

The CEO took the opportunity to warn Nigerians against travel scams, stressing that there is no guaranteed work visa for Canada, Germany, Australia or New Zealand. “Any agency promising one is defrauding clients”, he said, urging the industry to protect young Nigerians, often the primary targets of such schemes.

He lauded his staff for discipline and efficiency, noting the company’s three-second response policy and 3:00 a.m. resumption time. A joking claim that Flyzone staff could outperform Microsoft employees in responsiveness drew laughter. Awomoyi also thanked his wife for her patience, acknowledging the strain of client calls at all hours.

The party itself was a spectacle. Musician Oritse Femi delivered an electrifying performance, while MC Danfo (Ifeanyi Attansey) kept the audience entertained with humour and quick-fire jokes. A karaoke session became one of the night’s highlights, with consultants, staff and guests taking turns on the microphone—some impressively, some hilariously.

The culinary spread further elevated the evening, featuring African dishes such as smoky jollof rice, pepper soup, suya, grilled fish, swallow and a variety of soups, creating a seaside African gastronomy experience.

By the close of the event, the Flyzone All-White Party had reinforced the company’s reputation not only as a major player in Nigeria’s travel industry but also as a brand rooted in trust, culture and entertainment.
