July 03, (THEWILL) — A three-storey building has collapsed on the Lagos Island, injuring some occupants.
The building, located on Asesi Lane, around the Adeniji Adele Road, went down suddenly early Thursday.
Emergency responders from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), have so far rescued four persons from the rumble.
Lagos State Information Commissioner, Gbenga Omotoso, who confirmed the incident, said the rescued occupants have been taken to the hospital for medical attention.
“Four persons have been rescued from the rubble. They have been taken to hospital”, he said.
