December 02, (THEWILL) – FXTM Nigeria showcased its commitment to community development and sportsmanship over the weekend by organizing an exhilarating charity cycling event that attracted enthusiasts from across the country.
The event, themed “Cycling for Community”, saw 190 participants from Port Harcourt, Kwara, Ibadan, Ogun, and Lagos competing in various categories. These included Professional Male, Professional Female, Junior Male, Junior Female, Veteran Male, and Veteran Female.
The race commenced at 6:30 a.m., with Juniors completing 10 laps, Veterans racing through 14, and Professionals pushing their limits with 20 laps, each lap covering a distance of 2.8 kilometers.
Winners in the Professional categories walked away with impressive cash prizes—₦500,000, ₦300,000, ₦200,000, and ₦150,000 for 1st to 4th places, respectively. Cyclists who finished between 5th and 15th positions were also rewarded with ₦50,000 each.
In the Junior Male and Female categories, top prizes were ₦150,000, ₦100,000, and ₦50,000 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions. Veteran category winners received ₦250,000, ₦150,000, and ₦100,000 for the top three spots.
The event garnered widespread praise from participants and spectators, with many commending FXTM for its flawless organisation and for creating an inclusive platform to nurture talent and promote community spirit.
