
December 19, (THEWILL) – The Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, on Thursday, met with the National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Ganduje, in Abuja.
The team, led by the Minister of Aviation, Barr Festus Keyamo SAN, briefed Ganduje on the state of the Party in Delta State, the efforts at reconciling all party members, the Report of the Reconciliation Committee already approved by the State Working Committee (SWC) and the need for the National Chairman to work with the APC Delta Leadership to put the Party on a strong footing towards 2027 general elections.

The leadership used the opportunity to emphasise that the era of one-man show leadership in Delta State is gone, adding that the major actors in the Delta APC have decided to work together as a team towards repositioning the party.

In response, the National Chairman thanked the leadership for their visit and efforts to unite the Party towards victory.
Leaders at the meeting included the Founding Leader of the APC in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor OON, Former Minister, Elder Godsday Orubebe, Senator Ede Dafinone, Senator Joel Thomas-Onowakpo, House of Rep Member, Rev Francis Waive and Former Speaker, Hon Victor Ochei.
