April 11, (THEWILL) – Governor Hyacinth Alia has commended President Bola Tinubu for appointing the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Benue state, Dr Benjamin Omale, as the chairman of the governing board of National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu state.
The governor, who made the commendation at the Government House, Makurdi, when Omale presented the letter of appointment to him, also encouraged the party chairman to exemplify State Pride in his new role.
“Let me express my sincere appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Tinubu, for recognising Honorable Omale’s potential by appointing him as Chairman of the Governing Board of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu”, he stated.
The governor noted that Omale’s appointment signifies recognition of his exemplary leadership and positions him as a model of excellence within the APC, being selected among his counterparts from various states, noting that the formal letter of appointment was signed and delivered by Senator Dr George Akume, the Secretary to the State Government.
In his remarks, Dr Omale promised to continue to work for the success of the party in the state, commending President Tinubu for the gesture which he said won’t be taken for granted.
