June 10, (THEWILL) – The executive governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has appointed Prof. Grace Umezurike, as Secretary to the State Government.
Prof. Grace Umezurike is the wife of the immediate past Health Commissioner in Ebonyi State and a lecturer at Ebonyi State University.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Nwifuru, Dr Monday Uzor, said the appointment takes immediate effect and she would be sworn in on Tuesday, June 13.
The swearing-in would be held at the Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Ochudo, Centenary City, Abakaliki, by 10 am.
“The Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has approved the appointment of Prof. Grace Umezurike as Secretary to Ebonyi State Government.
“The appointment takes immediate effect.
“She will be sworn in on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 “, the statement read.
