March 09, (THEWILL) – Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has challenged All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders from the Vandeikya local Government area to be united and work in harmony to uphold the party’s constitution and to sustain the tenets of internal democracy.

The governor threw the challenge while addressing APC Stakeholders at Jecintha Hotel, Vandeikya, noting that doing so is contained in his administration’s seven-point agenda.

The Governor, who was represented at the ceremony by his Principal Private Secretary, Dr Emmanuel Chenge, explained that the purpose of the meeting was to strengthen the unity of APC in Vandeikya in order to sustain the reign of the party beyond 2027.

He assured members of the All Progressive Congress in the state to always ensure the unity of the Party at all levels and reinstated his commitment to sustain his massive developmental agenda for the benefit of the people of the state.

In a remark, a member representing Tiev Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon Matthew Damkor, pledged the unalloyed support and loyalty to the administration by the Benue State 10th Assembly under the leadership of the Speaker, Hon. Aondona Dajo.

The lawmaker called on the Kunav sons and daughters at home and in diaspora to unite and also lend their massive support to the administration of Governor Alia till 2031, when he would have completed a second term of office.

The Chairman of Vandeikya Local Government Council, Hon Dennis Guda, extolled governor Alia for his uncountable achievements in Benue State within two years.

He emphasised the need to uphold the unity of purpose to enable Governor Alia to succeed on the mandate beyond 2027.

Prominent party stalwarts from the area, including Dr Emmanuel Atser, Dr Dennis Akura, Dr Dennis Zwawua, among others, were in attendance.
