SAN FRANCISCO, May 20, (THEWILL) – French women football club, Guingamp, has wished Nigerian striker, Oparanozie well in her future endeavours upon her confirmation to depart the club.

The club thanked the Nigerian striker for the amazing goals during her stay in the club.

According to reports, striker has ended her 6-year career with the club due to the coronavirus pandemic as the club released six players in preparation for their 2020-21 season.

“We’ll miss you Oparanozie. Thanks for your smile and all the amazing goals. Good luck with your new challenge,” the club tweeted.

Other players affected include: Manon Toti, Juliette Merle, Ekaterina Tyryshkina, Carlin Hudson and Agathe Fauvel, while Mali striker Aissata Traore and Cameroon midfielder Jeannette Yango stayed back.
