November 13, (THEWILL) – Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, have abducted Prof. Patrick Egaga, Director of Servicom, at the University of Calabar.
Egaga, a professor at the department of Special Education in the institution was abducted on Sunday, at his resident in the University staff quarters.
The gunmen were said to have whisked him away through the river that overlooked the university’s staff quarters.
UNICAL PRO, Effiong Eyo and Spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Irene Ugbo, confirmed the incident on Monday.
