February 16, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday night, sacked the management team of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA).

The administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari appointed the management team, led by Madu Hamman.

Though no reason was given for their removal, a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, informed that  Hon. Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo has been appointed new Managing Director/CEO of the Housing Authority.

Oyetunde Ojo, a former Member of the House of Representatives, is the husband of the President’s daughter,  Folashade Tinubu Ojo, who is also the Iyaloja of Lagos.

He holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom.

A statement by Ngelale added that he has over a decade of work experience in the housing and hospitality industries.

Meanwhile, President  Tinubu has also approved the appointment of four Executive Directors to the management of the FHA.

They include Executive Director (Housing Finance & Accounts) – Mr Mathias Terwase Byuan; Executive Director (Business Development) — Mr Umar Dankane Abdullahi; Executive Director (Project Implementation) — Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye and Executive Director (Estate Services) — Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok
