March 22, (THEWILL) – The Village Head of Madaka Community in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State has been killed by bandits.
He was killed alongside 20 others when the bandits attacked the community on Thursday night.
District Head of Madaka, Alhaji Isah Bawale, who confirmed the incident, said the bandits abducted over 26 persons and set ablaze 50 houses, cars and motorcycles.
Authorities in Niger State, including the Police, are yet to issue any statement on the incident.
