February 11, (THEWILL) – Former Presidential Candidate of Peoples Democratic Party In the 2023 Elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, on Monday, said that he did not visit Former President Olusegun Obasanjo to discuss 2027 politics
Abubakar stated this when he paid a courtesy visit to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The Former Vice President, who came in the company of prominent politicians, including Senator Aminu Tambuwal and former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, Atiku arrived at the Library at about 12:37 pm.
On arrival, he immediately went into a closed-door meeting with Obasanjo, which lasted for over two hours, but the details of the meeting were not disclosed.
Abubakar, while fielding questions from newsmen, said that he only came to pay a courtesy visit to his former boss and was not in his residence to talk about the forthcoming elections
“I’m not going to talk about politics. I have only come on a courtesy visit”, Atiku said.
