August 20, (THEWILL) – The General Overseer of Gold City Gospel Ministry International, Apostle Dr. Trinity Ogar, has attributed his emergence as the Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Cross River State Chapter, to the of God’s Grace.
Dr. Ogar disclosed this during a thanksgiving service as well as the unveiling of his book: ‘Accessing the Help of God’.
He disclosed that he miraculously emerged as the State Chairman of the PFN and the thanksgiving is imperative as God also took away reproach from his eyes.
“We owe God thanksgiving because if we thank Him for a finger, he will give a hand.
“The Lord removed reproach from our eyes by giving us a daughter after ten years of marriage and also beautiful twins after seven years.
“God has been so faithful, the drama that went on in the process of my emergence as PFN chairman is a miracle and I owe God thanksgiving,” he said.
Also speaking, the State’s Deputy Governor, Peter Odey, congratulated Apostle Ogar for what God has used him to do.
He also thanked him for taking the State PFN in the right direction and expressed confidence that with him, the controversy surrounding the PFN in recent times will come to an end.
Also speaking, the State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Rev. Takis Ciaphas, said the author is frank, upright and has represented his block in CAN effectively.
Unveiling the book the book reviewer, Johnny Akpanke said we all need help and seek it daily.
According to him, “People might want to help but the help of men is limited while the only dependable help is from God and we can always find it.
“The author is qualified to write it because if he did not access the help of God, he would not have achieved what he did and no man could have done it except God.
“Reading the book, we will find that God is more interested in helping us than we are in calling on him.
“If we can only call God, he is ever ready to heed our call,” he said.
He added that the book, which was published by Gold City Publishing House, has eleven chapters, 132 pages and was written in conversational language.
Dignitaries who graced the book launch include the National Publicity Secretary of the PFN, Bishop Emmah Using, Asuquo Ekpenyong, some members of the State Executive Council as well as members of the PFN and CAN in the State.
