June 07, (THEWILL) -Action Alliance’s (AA) candidate for Ogun State gubernatorial election, Dr Samuel Adeyemi, has said that he would focus on health, education and road construction, if elected the governor of the state come 2023 election.
Adeyemi disclosed this on Sunday, shortly after being declared the winner of the gubernatorial primary election held at the party’s secretariat in Ijeja, Abeokuta.
The lawyer turned politician, said that he would think outside the box to effect positive change in health, education and road construction, if elected the next governor of the state within the period of six months
He added that he would also declare a state of emergency in areas where the situation called for it, noting that he would use his multi-disciplinary knowledge to change the state for better.
Adeyemi, who asked the masses to vote for AA in the forthcoming elections, said that it remains the only party to save them from poverty, hunger and rescue them from their oppressors.
He, therefore, expressed joy for being declared the gubernatorial candidate of AA, saying that his emergence came in a divine way.
“Naturally, I feel delighted, I feel excited to be selected by our people to be their standard bearer in the 2023 gubernatorial elections in Ogun State.
“I will use out of the box knowledge to solve those areas which are education, health and finally road constructions. Those three areas are those I will focus on most in the first six months of my tenure.
“Well I will declare a state of emergency in some critical areas and will use out of the box solutions, not the routine ones, to solve those problems. I will use my multi-disciplinary skills.
“It was a divine directive to go to Action Alliance, a mass organisation that has no religious bias. To help the masses to use as a template to take themselves out of the miseries, out of the poverty that the users have put them into. The masses need to come together to rescue themselves from the hands of grandmasters”, he added.
