December 13, (THEWILL) – Member representing Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency, Hon. Daniel Asuquo says he will govern Cross River State through continuation and partnerships.
Hon. Asuquo popularly called DANSUKI made this known in Akamkpa LGA while formally declaring his ambition to join the 2023 guber race in Cross River State.
He said he will build on where Donald Duke, Liyel Imoke and Ben Ayade stopped.
In his words, “I have a dream to build a robust, prosperous, peaceful and secure Cross River State through continuity and Partnerships.
“I intend to transform the state to an agro processing hub by building these hubs in the three Senatorial zones of the state.
“This will create the needed employment that will turn food on the table to food for the table.
“In the partnership, we will revamp rural and urban infrastructure across the state”, he said.
He stressed that the future of the state is quality leadership driven and he is ready to offer it.
On zoning, he said Cross River State has over the years operated a rotational brotherly system and it is the turn of the southern senatorial district to produce the governor.
He said the Efik speaking part of the south had taken it’s turn through the Donald Duke administration and it’s now time for the non Efik speaking part of the south to produce the governor.
