July 25, (THEWILL) — Ibom Air, the Akwa Ibom State-owned airline, has announced the expansion of its flight schedule to Enugu and Calabar, effective July 25, 2025.
In a statement signed by Aniekan Essienette, Group Manager, Marketing and Communications, the airline said the move aligns with its commitment to improving connectivity and offering greater convenience to passengers.
“Effective July 25, 2025, flights from Lagos and Abuja to Calabar will now operate daily, while flights to Enugu will run six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday), in observance of the current sit-at-home directive in Enugu on Mondays,” the statement said.
Ibom Air noted that the updated schedule transforms its previously limited operations on these routes into a more robust service offering, providing travellers with increased flexibility and better trip planning options.
“At Ibom Air, we understand the value of consistency and convenience in travel.
“Expanding our flight frequency on these routes is a direct response to our customers’ needs for more choices, without compromising the schedule reliability, on-time departures, and excellent service we are known for,” the statement added.
The airline reaffirmed its commitment to prioritising passengers’ needs by enabling seamless connections across its expanding network.
