BEVERLY HILLS, July 21, (THEWILL) – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has said Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes have helped the Red Devils in their push for a top-four finish this season.
Ighalo and the Portuguese midfielder joined the Red Devils during the winter transfer window.
“I think we’ve grown over the whole season,”Solskjaer told a news conference on Monday.
“The addition of Odion, Bruno and Paul coming back, plus Marcus coming back is a strength for us. We are better as a group and more robust and resilient.
“The proof is in the pudding and we ‘ll have to see on Wednesday how they perform.”
THEWILL reports that the Red Devils (5th), who are tied on 62 points apiece with Leicester (4th), have a game in hand with West Ham on Wednesday at the Old Trafford. A win against the Hammers place ManU in 3rd position ahead of Chelsea, while a draw with put them at 4th position.
