May 30, (THEWILL) – The Ijaw leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, High Chief Micheal Johnny, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, on their successful inauguration.
Johnny, who is also the Agadiwei of Gbaramatu kingdom, in a statement in Warri, on Monday, also assured that the Ijaw leaders, stakeholders and members of the APC in the state would give their total support to President Tinubu’s administration.
“The Ijaw leaders, stakeholders and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Warri South West, Warri North, Warri South, Burutu, Patani and Bomadi Local Government Areas in Delta State, congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, on his successful inauguration on May 29th, 2023,” he said.
The former Chairman of Egbema Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation (EGCDF), noted that the Delta State Ijaws of the APC spoke loudly with their votes for President Tinubu at the February 25th presidential election.
He said, “It is our belief and expectation that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration will bring more fortunes to the Ijaws of APC in Delta State, even as we shall continue to support the new President Tinubu’s administration to succeed.”
Johnny also thanked all stakeholders and members of the APC in Delta State for their support and loyalty to the party before, during and after the last general elections, expressing hope that their efforts will be rewarded.
