
February 15, (THEWILL) – The Coordinator of Ikwo Development Centre, Hon. Onyekachi Nwoba, has assured the people of his area of security of lives and property, adding that his administration will focus on replicating the good governance of Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru-led administration.
Nwoba, who stated this while announcing his mission statement in Ikwo Development Centre, said his administration would also put agriculture on the front burner.
According to him, his administration would “make the security of lives and property a top priority so that all law-abiding citizens residing in Ikwo Development Center will have the freedom to go about their lawful businesses without fear.
“To replicate the good governance of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru anchored on People’s Charter of Needs at the Development Center, particularly as it concerns the welfare of indigent persons, workers and indeed the good people of the DC.
“To increase productivity and service delivery by inculcating discipline, good moral values and work ethics in civil servants in the Development Center.
“To foster effective participation in governance where everyone has the freedom to make meaningful contributions to the development of the state through the Development Center.
“To make agriculture the mainstay of the economy by assisting the farmers where we can, especially through the provision of grants and modern agricultural inputs to enhance large-scale production.”
