
April 21, (THEWILL) — House of Representatives aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress for Buruku Federal Constituency, Hon. Alex Addingi, has pledged to deploy his international experience and connection to attract foreign investors to Buruku local government area if elected in the 2027 general election.
Honorable Addingi, who resigned as Special Adviser to Benue State governor on International Investment, said he is out to improve the lives of Buruku residents through development projects and other incentives.
Speaking at the NUJ House in Makurdi on Monday, Addingi explained that his decision to make Buruku an oil hub is realistic through distribution of 65,000 palm trees to people of the area for plantation.
The 2027 House of Representatives hopeful, insists that 5,000 youths of Buruku extraction are to be trained on digital entrepreneural skills so as to be self-sustaining.
He also stated that the donation of 1,000 palm trees to members of Nigeria Union of Journalists’ in Benue State was to enable them start preparation for retirement, assuring them of more in the course of life.
Addingi, therefore, pledged to mobilise support for governor Hyacinth Alia to secure the 2027 reelection bid in the state to sustain the what he described as quantum of development.
In his remarks, NUJ chairman, Comrade Bemdoo Ugber, thanked Hon. Addingi for the gesture, saying journalists will always project his programmes to the outside world and wished him well in his political career.
