SAN FRANCISCO, August 26, (THEWILL) – President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Monday sacked the Minister of Youth Development, Mr. Inuwa Abdul-Kadir, with immediate effect.
A statement from the office of the secretary to the government of the federation directed Inuwa, who until his sack represented Sokoto State in the federal cabinet, to handover to the permanent secretary in the ministry.
“Mr. President expresses appreciation to the Former Minister for the time he put in the services of the nation and wishes him success in his future endeavours,” the statement signed by the Special Assistant (Media), Sam Nwaobasi, said.
No explanation was given for his sudden sack.
