SAN FRANCISCO, September 11, (THEWILL) – The state executive council of Kaduna State has been dissolved with immediate effect, a statement by Alhaji Ahmed Maiyaki, the Director General on Media and Publicity to state Governor, Muktar Yero said Wednesday.
Though no reason was given for the dissolution, the statement directed all commissioners in the state to hand over to their permanent secretaries by Friday.
Governor Yero, according to the statement, thanked the dissolved cabinet members for their service to the state and wished them success in their future endeavours.
Yero assumed office about 10 months ago following the death of Governor Patrick Yakowa, who died alongside former NSA Owoye Azazi and the pilots of the military chopper that crashed in Bayelsa State.
