June 05, (THEWILL) – The Kogi State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has unveiled Comrade Salifu Joel, as the deputy governorship candidate of the party for the November 11, 2023 election in the state.
Salifu, the Kogi State chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), will run on a joint governorship ticket with Usman Ododo.
Speaking at the unveiling, Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello, expressed gratitude to the people, stakeholders, party faithful, for their support for his administration.
He described the APC candidates for the November governorship election as a perfect and winning team.
Bello also described Salifu as a perfect gentleman and seasoned administrator with grassroots appeal.
In his acceptance speech, Salifu Joel expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy to be a running mate to Ododo.
