October 03, (THEWILL) – The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion on the Ojuelegba Flyover Bridge by the Fire Station, between 10:00 pm on Saturday, October 5 and 5:00 am on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, said the brief closure of the bridge is necessary for the installation of a truck barrier as part of a traffic management strategy to avert further accidents and loss of lives.
Consequently, motorists from Eko Bridge, Costain and Iponri inbound Ojuelegba are advised to use the Service Lane from the National Stadium gate to link Barracks to access their desired destinations.
