
SAN FRANCISCO, August 12, (THEWILL) – English club, Liverpool, has nominated Rinsola Babajide, for the Liverpool Women’s Player of the Season for 2019-20.
The club announced this on their official website on Wednesday.
Fans of the club will be expected to vote for the most outstanding player that featured for the first team.
Also, the fans’ votes will be combined with nominations by members of the club’s official former players association, Forever Reds, to ascertain the winner – which will be revealed on Liverpoolfc.com soon.
Babajide was the Red’s joint-second WSL goalscorer in the 2019/20 season.
She joined the club in January 2018.
THEWILL reports that the winger represented England at the U-20s squad that claimed bronze at the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup. However, she could still represent Nigeria due to her Nigerian heritage.
