BEVERLY HILLS, June 11, (THEWILL) – Premier League leaders, Liverpool has defeated Blackburn Rovers 6-0 in a friendly game played at Anfield.

The match was played behind-closed-doors Thursday as teams prepare for the restart of the soccer season.

Goals from Sadio Mane, Keita, Minamino, Matip, Hoever and Clarksongave gave the reds a comfortable victory in the game.

Mane gave Liverpool an early lead when he perfectly executed a finish from close range after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s shot was saved and Naby Keita increased the goal tally after when he met Takumi Minamino’s ball into the box before the latter made it three with a neat finish just before the break.

Joel Matip scored the fourth while Ki-Jana Hoever netted the fifth moments later and Leighton Clarkson ended the tally with the sixth goal.
