Mark Clattenburg will referee the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, UEFA has announced.

It marks a cup double for the English referee. The 41-year-old officiates the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium on May 21, followed by the Champions League final at Milan’s San Siro a week later.

Clattenburg has handled six Champions League matches this season, including two featuring Atletico Madrid and one involving Real Madrid.

He has also been picked by UEFA to referee at the European Championships in France this summer.
