
December 18, (THEWILL) – A renowned Medical Director and Chief Executive Officer of Meniscus Specialist Hospital, Doctor Ikuli Ibebieru Iboroma, has bagged the Most Active Hospital Proprietor of the 2024 Bayelsa Merit And Enterprise Award (BAMA)
The Award was presented to him by the Organising Secretary, Elliot Zamide, on behalf of the Chairman, Comrade Andy Okpongo and the Board of Directors of BAMA at the hospital located along old Azikoro Road, Okaka in Yenagoa.
Presenting the Award to Doctor Ikuli Ibebieru Iboroma the Organising Secretary, Elliot Zamide said BAMA is an umbrella body of media practitioners with a focus on identifying professionals doing well in their chosen careers that have made a positive impact on the development of society and encouraging them to do more.
He said the Doctor Ikuli Ibebieru Iboroma nomination came from people who found him worthy in character and conduct in the area of bringing affordable primary healthcare services to the doorsteps of the people and his contributions towards preventing maternal mortality.
In his acceptance speech, the award recipient, Doctor Ikuli Ibebieru Iboroma, expressed deep appreciation to BAMA for considering him worthy of the award which he stated is a call to render greater service to humanity and urged BAMA to identify more professionals for the award.
He advised people to always do the right thing saying that there comes a passion and sense of fulfillment when patients visit the hospital and get satisfied.
Doctor Ikuli Ibebieru Iboroma holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery(MBBS) from the University of Maiduguri, hails from Idema in the Abureni Clan of Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa, has been in private medical practice since 2017.
His philosophy of life is to render timely and efficient healthcare service to people irrespective of their ethnic, religious backgrounds and financial status to raise life expectancy.
