April 03, (THEWILL) – The newly appointed Chairman of the Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority, Dr Amos Gizo, assumed duty in Makurdi on Thursday, with a charge on management and staff of the authority to ensure teamwork and collaboration for service delivery.
The chairman, who was addressing staff at the Authority’s Head office, Oturkpo Road, Makurdi, urged them to work together seamlessly as one family to deliver on the mandate bestowed upon them by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Dr Gizo while expressing gratitude to President Tinubu for the honour of serving in the capacity of chairman, acknowledged the administration’s numerous achievements, including improved security stability, reduced food prices and a strengthened Naira value.
He pledged to revamp the River Basin Development Authority, seeking active collaboration and support from management and staff to drive meaningful change and progress.
The newly appointed Executive Management team have Dr Amos Gizo Yadukso as Chairman, Engr Terese Ninga, as Managing Director, Engr Okibe Timothy, as Executive Director, Engineering; Yusuf Omaaki as Executive Director, Finance, Hassan Omale as Executive Director, Agric Services and Sunday Kubba Hassan as Executive Director, Planning and Design.
