May 12, (THEWILL) – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has stated that Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has questions to answer regarding a viral video that allegedly shows him involved in naira abuse.
According to THEWILL, the anti-graft agency’s statement followed the circulation of a video that appeared to show Tompolo dancing while a man lavishly sprayed N1,000 notes around him.
The footage was taken during part of Tompolo’s 54th birthday celebration in April.
Responding to the video, the EFCC posted on its official X handle on Monday, saying: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
