March 26, (THEWILL) – Former Senate President Ken Nnamani, has lost out to Emma Eneukwu, as Deputy National Chairman (South) in the National Working Committee (NWC) of the ruling the All Progressives Congress..
The horse-trading replacing Nnamani was confirmed on Saturday evening, when the long awaited ‘Unity List’ for the ongoing National Convention of the APC, finally emerged at the convention ground, Eagle Square, Abuja.
The list of the anointed candidates, also confirmed the selection of President Muhammadu Buhari’s choice of National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
Those on the list have the support of party stakeholders to form the next crop of National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC.
According to the list obtained by THEWILL, former governor of Nasarawa State, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, would emerge national chairman of the party, while Senator Iyiola Omisore (Osun State) would be national secretary.
Senator Abubakar Kyari (Borno State) has been penned as Deputy National Chairman (North), while Chief Emma Eneukwu (Enugu) would be deputy national chairman (South).
