BEVERLY HILLS, June 09, (THEWILL) – Victor Osimhen and Wilfred Ndidi have been ranked fourth and fifth respectively on the list of Africa’s most expensive players by the CIES Football Observatory.
Osimhen has a value of €64m while Ndidi is at €50m. No other Nigerian player made the list.
Notable African players on the list of top 100 most expensive footballers are Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah (£129.2m), Sadio Mane (£124.1m) and Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe.
However, France and Paris Saint-Germain’s star, Kylian Mbappe, was ranked as the most expensive player in the world with a value of €259.2, followed by Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling (£173.6m).
