April 02, (THEWILL) — Nigeria’s equities market ended Thursday’s session on a largely flat note as modest losses in select counters offset gains recorded across several stocks.

At the close of trading, the market capitalisation slipped slightly from ₦129.809 trillion at the opening of the session to ₦129.703 trillion, reflecting mild profit-taking activity. Similarly, the All-Share Index (ASI) edged down marginally from 201,703.55 points to 201,698.89 points.

Despite the slight dip in the benchmark index, market breadth closed positive as 34 stocks recorded price appreciation while 24 declined, indicating selective buying interest across various counters.
