May 29 (THEWILL) — The Nigerian Exchange resumed trading after the Eid holiday on a mildly positive note, as modest buying interest in select counters lifted market indices despite a negative breadth dominated by more decliners than gainers.

However, market sentiment remained mixed, with 30 gainers trailing 34 losers, indicating sustained profit-taking pressure across several sectors.
