BEVERLY HILLS, August 28, (THEWILL) – Nigeria Friday reported 160 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus to bring the tally countrywide to 53, 477 with 41, 017 recoveries and no new death to keep the tally at 1011.
According to data released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, Plateau State led again for the third day in row, adding 44 new cases, while Lagos, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria, recorded 27, Katsina 18, Edo 15 and the FCT 14. See below for a full breakdown.
The NCDC also said it has so far tested 394, 524 samples as at August 27, 2020.
