August 21, (THEWILL) — The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), in collaboration with the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), has repatriated 51 foreign nationals convicted of cyber-terrorism and internet fraud.

According to the EFCC, the latest batch comprised 50 Chinese nationals and one Tunisian, bringing the total number of convicted foreigners repatriated to 102 since the exercise began on Friday, August 15, 2025.

The commission explained that the convicts were among 192 foreign nationals arrested in Lagos during a sting operation, following actionable intelligence on the activities of a major foreign-led cybercrime syndicate operating in the country.
