April 14, (THEWILL) – The Director General of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR), Nura Sani Kangiwa, has commiserated with the family and loyal subjects of late Alhaji Kabiru Agbabiaka, the Osolo of Isolo, who passed away shortly after observing the Eid prayers on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in Lagos.
The DG equally condoles with the good people of Isolo, the tourism community in Lagos State and the Lagos State Government over the death of the Monarch.
Kangiwa, in his condolence message, said: “The late Osolo of Isolo was an advocate of host community tourism development in his domain and Lagos State at large.
“And, on the 17th of June 2022, late Alhaji Kabiru Agbabiaka was conferred as a Fellow of the Hospitality and Tourism Institute (FHTI) by NIHOTOUR at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
“The Institute will sorely miss the monarch’s fatherly counsel and support on the delivery of host community tourism programmes.”
He prayed to God to give the late Osolo’s family and the tourism community in Lagos State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
