November 14, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has appointed Adedapo Segun as its new Chief Financial Officer, Isiyaku Abdullahi as Executive Vice President for Downstream, and Udobong Ntia as Executive Vice President for Upstream.

In a statement issued by the Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, NNPC described the appointments as part of its ongoing efforts to build a capable leadership team that will drive operational excellence and meet the company’s strategic goals.

The statement read in part, “The Board of Directors of NNPC Limited is pleased to announce a series of strategic leadership appointments.

“These changes reflect our continued dedication to enhancing corporate governance, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring long-term success in Nigeria’s energy sector.”

The company also expressed appreciation to outgoing executives Umar Ajiya and Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan for their dedication and service.

It reaffirmed its commitment to achieving operational excellence, strengthening global competitiveness, and securing financial sustainability while prioritising the interests of Nigerians in the petroleum industry.
