April 04, (THEWILL) – The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has formally announced the appointment of a new 8-man Senior Management Team headed by the GCEO, Mr Bashir Bayo Ojulari, with Rowland Ewubare as Group Chief Operating Officer; Adedapo Segun as Group Chief Financial Officer; and Olalekan Ogunleye as Executive Vice President Gas, Power & New Energy, confirming THEWILL exclusive report early Friday.
Other members of the team according to a statement by the company, are Udy Ntia as Executive Vice President Upstream; Mumuni Dangazau as Executive Vice President Downstream; Sophia Mbakwe as Executive Vice President Business Services; and Adesua Dozie, as Company Secretary & Chief Legal Officer.
“All appointments are with immediate effect,” the company’s statement said.
THEWILL had previously reported that the state owned oil company would name a new Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) and two new Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs) alongside a new General Counsel/Company Secretary as part of its restructuring.
Citing authoritative sources with knowledge of the development, THEWILL reported that the appointments would be formalised at the board meeting of the NNPCL today.
