October 14, (THEWILL) — Governor Monday Okpebholo has approved the appointment of Mr Akhigbe Osi John Sunday as Chairman of the Edo State Bursary and Scholarship Board.
A statement signed on Tuesday by the Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor, Esq., said the appointment takes immediate effect.
Mr Akhigbe Sunday is an astute politician and businessman with a degree in Accounting from Oduduwa University, Ipetu Modu, Ile-Ife.
He previously served as Chairman of Etsako Central Local Government Area of Edo State between 2018 and 2021, and as Executive Director (Protocol) to the Governor of Edo State between 2012 and 2016.
The statement added that Mr Sunday is also a member of several professional bodies.
