August 01, (THEWILL) — Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has approved the appointment of Barr. Kasimu Otono as his new Special Adviser on Oil & Gas.
A legal practitioner and real estate entrepreneur, Otono, is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and International Bar Association. He is currently a Senior Partner at Kay & Kay Legal, a law firm specialising in Commercial, Real Estate, and Oil & Gas Law and Practice.
A statement signed by Secretary to the State Government, Umar Ikhilor, informed that Barr. Kasimu Otono replaces the suspended immediate-past Special Adviser, Felix Osemwengie Isere.
Governor Okpebholo had on Tuesday suspended Isere following alleged unauthorised fundraising for a planned Oil and Gas summit scheduled for August 7 in Benin City.
