The clarification follows rumours circulating on Monday night that the monarch had died.

Chief Press Secretary to the Olubadan, Gbenga Ayoade, further dismissed speculations that the monarch had been flown out of Ibadan for medical treatment, stating, “Baba is still in Ibadan. He has not flown anywhere. He is doing very fine.”
