February 19, (THEWILL) – Residents of Otukpo, on Monday, took to the streets to protest the high tuition fee and alleged deliberate refusal of the management of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO), Benue State, to employ indigenes of the community.

Displaying placards as they walked around the Otukpo township and the temporary site of the institution, the protesters in their chanted songs, alleged that their children and wards are equally denied admission into the university.

FUHSO is a specialised university established to make education in specialised fields easier and more affordable.
