July 24, (THEWILL) — The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the schedule of activities and timetable for the party’s elective national convention scheduled for November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The party made the announcement at its 101st NEC meeting held on Thursday in Abuja.
“The PDP National Convention will hold on November 15-16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State. The party’s NEC will reconvene on August 25, 2025, for its 102nd meeting. NEC directed the National Chairman and National Secretary to inform the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the convention details”, the Committee resolved.
The EC also approved the membership composition of the National Convention Committee and National Convention Zoning Committee.
While expressing satisfaction over the resolution of internal conflicts, the NEC directed the National Working Committee (NWC) to take legal action to recover the seats of PDP members who defected to other parties.
The party reiterates its commitment to dialogue and mutual understanding.
