January 02, (THEWILL) — Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC), confirming an earlier exclusive report by THEWILL regarding a major realignment of opposition governors ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He added that the move to the APC would further spur his commitment to delivering peace and sustainable development across the state.
Mutfwang also extended his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his “deep love and concern” for Plateau State and pledged his full support for the President’s re-election bid in 2027.
