April 26, (THEWILL) – Plateau State Governor-elect, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has noted with displeasure, the bloody attack by bandits on innocent citizens at a mining site in Farinlamba community, Jos South Local Government Area, and has called for the arrest of the attackers.
The Governor-elect, who has condemned the attack which left many dead, also appealed to the security agencies in the State to halt further attacks and fish out the perpetrators to face the full wrath of the law.
He appealed to peace-loving and patriotic citizens of Plateau State and the environs to be committed to peaceful co-existence, and unite for maximum protection and safety of the people.
Barr. Mutfwang admonished Plateau citizens to be conscious of their environment and alert the constituted authority of any strange movement around them for swift action.
The Governor-elect commiserated with those who lost their lives as a result of the ugly incident and reassured Plateau citizens of his commitment to a peaceful and progressive Plateau.
