
February 10, (THEWILL) – Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command have arrested a personnel of the Nigerian Immigration Service with assorted firearms and ammunition.
THEWILL reports that the unnamed officer was arrested on Monday afternoon around the Zuma area of the FCT.
A police source said the personnel was intercepted with “four AK-47 magazines; four magazines of CZ Scorpion rifle; two CZ Scorpion rifles, 139mm ammunition, and two Diakon and CZ pistols”.
FCT Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, said the suspect is undergoing interrogation.
