September 10, (THEWILL) — The Qatari Ministry of Interior (MOI) has introduced new visa regulations for Nigerian travellers, citing concerns over frequent cases of overstays.
Under the new policies, a return transfer has become a compulsory requirement for securing a Qatar tourist or transit visa.
In addition, while only females or families are now eligible to apply, Male travellers are no longer eligible unless accompanied by their family.
The regulations also stated that all applicants must book a five-star hotel to qualify for the visa.
The ministry further confirmed that the rules will affect all pending visa approvals.
