During the inauguration, Mr Alaka commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his invaluable support and dedication to the leadership of Nigeria’s President, Ahmed Tinubu.

He expressed gratitude for the Governor’s efforts in propelling the Renewed Hope Agenda toward achieving its goals.

In his address, Mr Alaka stated, “Distinguished Members of the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), it is with great honour and heartfelt enthusiasm that I welcome each and every one of you to this epoch-making event. Today, in Ebonyi State, the Salt of the Nation, we celebrate the establishment of our state chapter following the Zonal meeting and empowerment in Owerri, Imo State, on December 26, 2024. Since then, we have been working tirelessly to elevate the living standards of our people.”

He highlighted the strategic importance of Ebonyi State, which is divided into 13 local government areas and comprises 171 political wards. This structure, he noted, positions Ebonyi as a critical hub for the Renewed Hope Agenda’s initiatives.

Mr Alaka proudly announced the formation of a robust leadership structure within the state, sharing that the South East Renewed Hope Agenda now boasts twenty-one executive members at the state level, alongside 273 local government executives and 351 ward executives. “This makes us the largest political group in the state”, he declared.

Furthermore, he acknowledged the dedication of the organisation’s National Coordinator, Amb. (Hon) Belusochukwu Enwere, whose energetic leadership and strategic vision have been instrumental in nurturing the movement. “His commitment and hard work to build a thriving organisation during these challenging times are truly inspiring”, Mr Alaka remarked.

The successful inauguration signals a renewed commitment to grassroots engagement and empowerment, laying the groundwork for impactful initiatives that resonate within the communities of Ebonyi State. As the Renewed Hope Agenda embarks on this new chapter, the focus remains on uplifting citizens and enhancing socio-economic growth across the region.
