SAN FRANCISCO, August 02, (THEWILL) – Super Eagles winger, Samuel Kalu, has returned to training with his Ligue 1 club, Girondis Bordeaux, after testing negative to the coronavirus.
THEWILL had initially reported that the footballer had been in quarantine since the beginning of July after he contracted the deadly virus.
However, the winger trained with his teammates on Sunday morning, with the club sharing a photo of Kalu on social media training with his teammates.
Kalu is the second Nigerian player to have tested positive for coronavirus after fellow Super Eagles teammate, Paul Onuachu, tested positive.
